    Seeing outstanding early-stage founders face off in a pitch competition is not only an essential part of the TechCrunch conference, it’s also a favorite of the attendees. Seriously, who doesn’t love a pitch-off? Space Pitch-off is another compelling reason to attend TC Sessions: Space on December 6th in Los Angeles. Let’s take a look at the judges our intrepid startup needs to impress.

    Let’s go back to e-pitch off. Be in the room as three of the brightest early stage space startups take the stage in front of a live audience. I want the glory, the media exposure, the investor interest, and the drumroll. A hand-picked cohort of 200 early-stage startups will first exhibit all three days of his show for free and receive a VIP experience, including a $100,000 chance.

    Without further delay, here are the investors the pitch-off candidates need to impress: Jolly BellGeneral Partner of Playground Global. Mark BogettCo-founder and CEO of Seraphim Space. Tesshatch, a partner of Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP).When Emily Henricksonprincipal of Root Ventures.

    Jolly Bell Raised some of Playground Global’s early investments, including Nervana Systems (acquired by Intel). His first three investments in the company are now unicorns, one his Velo3D went public last year.

    Bell leads the company’s investment activities in deep technology areas, including advanced manufacturing, aerospace, computational therapy, energy, genomics, materials, next-generation computing, and quantum and synthetic biology. His investment portfolio includes Mangata Networks, Relativity Space and Strand Therapeutics.

    Mark Bogettis a pioneer in space technology investment and co-founded the Seraphim Space Fund, investing in a portfolio that includes three companies that have achieved $1 billion valuations. Previously, Bogett was on the board of YFM Equity Partners, which operates a prominent UK small business, VCT 1 and 2.

    Bogett also worked for Bruin Dolphin and Williams de Breaux. He holds a BA in Accounting and Finance and an MA in Economics and Finance from the University of Leeds.

    Tesshatchis a Silicon Valley-based BVP partner fostering entrepreneurship in cutting-edge technologies such as space, drones, self-driving cars, and commercialization of agriculture and food technology. She currently serves on the boards of DroneDeploy, Iris Automation, Phantom Auto, and Spire Global, and serves as a board observer at Black Sheep Foods, Forever Oceans, Rocket Lab, and Velo3D.

    Hatch was included in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Venture Capital. She speaks and writes regularly for Bloomberg, TechCrunch, and other space and cutting-edge publications. Early in her career, she worked for Boeing, then SpaceX, where she worked with the government to integrate payloads into her Falcon 9 rocket.

    Hatch holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from Stanford University.

    Emily Henrickson Principal at Root Ventures, a company focused on investing in three areas: tools and infrastructure, low-cost robotics, and hardware and data science. Prior to joining Root, he worked as a propulsion engineer, designed the flight hardware for the SpaceX Falcon, and oversaw the production of vehicles for time-critical missions.

    Henriksson also worked on Tesla’s Model 3 battery module team. He has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and a bachelor of science degree from Stanford University, and he earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
