Yuri announced the appointment. Hermida is our Chief Growth Officer (CGO). Mr. Hermida will play a key role in executing Sovos Brands’ company-wide growth strategy, overseeing the company’s sales, marketing and business units.

Hermida will join Sovos Brands at the end of October. He is currently executive vice president of Reckitt, a multinational manufacturer of health, hygiene and nutrition consumer products, overseeing the company’s multi-billion dollar North American hygiene business. Prior to Reckitt, he worked at P&G for more than 20 years, starting his career in the company’s marketing department before taking on important roles such as his country manager for the Malaysia and Singapore region and general manager for baby care for Greater China. He has held leadership positions. He is Vice President of Feminine and Baby Care for North America.
