On December 7, Samsung C&T announced recurring president appointments for 2023, promoting two new leaders. T/F Jeong HaiLin, Vice President of Business Support at Samsung Electronics, has been promoted to President and CEO of Samsung C&T Resort Group and CEO of Samsung Welstory, while Kang Byung-il will run Samsung C&T Engineering and Construction (E&C) Group. Promoted to President of Management Department, EPC Competitiveness Improvement T/F.
Both bring a wealth of experience to their new roles. Jeong has held various roles including Samsung Electronics Business Support Team, Mobile Division Audit Team, and Samsung Electronics General Manager of Europe. Jeong is expected to lead the innovation and growth of Samsung C&T Resort Group based on his rich experience and know-how as a management expert.
On the other hand, Mr. Kang will make use of his extensive experience in technology research, environmental business support team, and management support team at Samsung Engineering to promote cooperation and synergy with EPC companies as the new president of EPC Competitiveness Improvement T/F. expected to promote , and Samsung C&T Corporate Strategy Office.
Samsung C&T will soon announce the appointment of executives below the vice president for 2023.
