Dr. Chung is Professor of Nuclear Engineering, Kyung Hee University, South Korea. An expert in nuclear thermal hydraulics and safety, he started his career at the Ministry of Science and Technology of South Korea. During his time at Kyung Hee University, Dr. Jeong has served on various government and industry committees on nuclear safety, research and development, and national energy and power planning. He has also been convened as an international expert and consults with the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.
Mr. Fujino is currently Senior Advisor of Unison Capital. From 2016 to 2021, he was Managing Executive Officer and Global Head of Equity Finance Group at Japan Bank for International Cooperation, a Japanese government agency that financially supports the overseas activities of Japanese industries. Prior to that, he worked for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, where he was responsible for a wide range of policy areas, focusing on energy policy and international affairs. He has also worked at the International Energy Agency as head of the country studies division that considers member countries’ energy policies.
