Mega Sindh Inter-University Fest in December 2022. Hosted by HR College of Commerce and Economics, under the leadership of Principal Dr. Pooja Ramchandani and Chair of Student Affairs Mr. Jayesh Dharmendra Jaisinghani. The event was intended to reach the highest pedestals of excellence and success by having a significant impact on Sindhi culture. His eight prestigious Universities in Mumbai joined in this grand and first edition ‘SHAAN’. Its inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Sri Kish Manskani, the immediate past Chairman of the HSNC Board and Dr. Ravi Tekchandani of NCPSL (National Council for the Spread of Sindhi).
The event was attended by Dr. Ram Jawarahani, Ms. Simran Ahuja, Dr. Jyoti Jangiani, Dr. Bharti Chhabria, Mr. and Mrs. Paliani, Dr. Lal Tanwani, Mohit Shewani, Neel Taleja, Rahul Matta and many others. It was also a moment of joy to be joined by his illustrious alumni Mr. JashKumar Tekwani, Mr. Gaurav Aswani and Mr. Harsh Lohana. SHAAN’s motivation was to make today’s youth aware of the importance and richness of Sindhi culture and to provide a platform for Sindhi students to showcase their skills and what they are good at.
The event spanned three days and featured Sindhi sports, business games, dances and fashion shows. The students put up a tough competition and eventually Jai Hind College, RD National College and KC College won him 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in this event.
