Karachi White Ribbon Pakistan, part of a global men’s movement in over 50 countries to end violence against women and girls, has decided to launch the White Ribbon Workplace Gender Inclusion Awards for Pakistan’s corporate sector. Announced.
The award is the first of its kind in Pakistan and is awarded annually to companies that have used their position to champion gender equality and take steps to promote women’s empowerment. These awards were launched on November 25, White Ribbon Day for the End of Violence against Women.
The White Ribbon Award is presented annually to companies that advocate for gender equality and take steps to promote the empowerment of women in the workplace. The award celebrates and recognizes the best practices and policies of participating companies and emphasizes gender justice and gender inclusion through CSR and brand communications and advertising for employees, customers and communities.
All organizations committed to gender equality and demonstrating a positive impact on the empowerment of women in the workplace are eligible to apply for these awards. The White Ribbon Awards have her three categories: Gender Inclusive Workplaces, Gender Responsive Marketplaces, and Community Engagement and Partnerships. A survey form must be submitted online for all categories. Finalists are selected based on a unique ranking system.
