Arnee Ismail has joined SME Bank Malaysia as Head of Group Strategic Communications, reporting to Group Chief Strategy Officer Mohammad Hardee Ibrahim. Arnee (pictured) is responsible for developing and managing the bank’s strategic communications and branding plans.
She also helps develop, implement and maintain communication programs with internal and external stakeholders to market the bank’s existing products and services. At the same time she develops, prepares and manages communication strategies, schedules, materials, logistics, publications and media. Through strategic initiatives and programs, she positions the bank to achieve its aspirations and mission.

She previously served as Vice President of Communications at KSK Land and Senior Manager of Brand and PR Communications at FWD Insurance. Arnee also worked for Berjaya Sompo Insurance, International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation, MUFG and AmMetLife Insurance.
