Turin, 1st December 2022Iveco Group NV (MI: IVG) today announced the appointment of Angela Qu as Chief Supply Chain Officer and Ángel Rodríguez Lagunilla as Chief Manufacturing Officer.
Angela Qu has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement and management consulting. In 1994, Ms. Qu was appointed by her Siemens to develop an undeveloped manufacturing base in China. She then headed the global sourcing department at Leybold Optics (later she was acquired by the Bühler Group). She joined ABB in 2005, where she worked in Germany and Switzerland, increasing her responsibilities mainly in her chain of supply, eventually leading functions at the global level. In 2019, Mr. Ku was appointed Chief Procurement Officer of the Lufthansa Group and was also a member of the Supervisory Board of Lufthansa Cargo. Ms. Qu holds her MBA in Supply Chain Management from ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Currently, she is an independent director of Gurin Energy and she DANX Carousel and a member of the Board of Directors of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
Ángel Rodríguez Lagunilla has successfully led the manufacturing organization since the inception of the Iveco Group. Rodríguez Lagunilla joined IVECO in 1998 after completing an engineering degree from the University of Valladolid, Spain. In 2011 he was appointed Director of the Madrid plant. The Madrid factory quickly became the group’s benchmark facility thanks to its expertise in lean manufacturing and smart factories. In 2015, he was appointed Head of Commercial Vehicle and Bus Manufacturing for the EMEA region and in January 2019 was appointed Head of Commercial and Special Vehicle Manufacturing for IVECO.
Angela Qu and Ángel Rodríguez Lagunilla join Iveco Group’s senior leadership team in new roles. Former Chief Operating Officer Annalisa Stupenengo leaves the organization after more than 25 years of responsibility and success within the former FCA and CNH Industrial groups.
