Medicinos bankas, which is expanding its loan portfolio, posted a net profit of €3.4 million in the first three quarters of the year.
Marius Arlauskas, managing director of the World Bank, said the bank’s performance was stable this year, although macroeconomic conditions were not easy.
“While the tensions caused by the energy crisis have affected many activities, our results remain stable. It’s the same as last year, with some indicators showing particularly strong growth rates.I would like to mention loans, the volume of which has clearly increased during the reporting period,” said Arlauskas.
Our loan portfolio increased by 17% to €247 million in the first nine months of the year. Meanwhile, net interest income increased by 4.6% (€300,000) to €8 million.
Between January and September of this year, compared to the first three quarters of last year, Medicinos Bankas’ net fee and commission income decreased by 1% (€0.04 million) to €3.6 million, while foreign currency Net income from operations increased by 12. % (€400,000) to €3.8 million.
Medicinos bankas’ assets reached €412 million on September 30, 3.5% higher than at the end of September 2021 (€398 million).
Our liabilities to customers amounted to €336.9 million at the end of the third quarter of this year, an increase of 2.6% compared to the same period last year (€328.4 million). Medicinos bankas’ shareholders’ equity increased by 10.7% to him at 46 million euros (42 million euros at the end of September last year).
With a network of 38 regional branches, Medicinos bankas had a total of 296 employees at the end of September.
