Australia’s Independent Media Authority (IMAA) has announced the appointment of Jacquie Alley (feature image) as its new Chairman and the addition of Steve Fagan to its Board of Directors.
It was announced at the IMAA’s annual meeting that incumbent chairman Ant Colreavy will step down after serving two years.
Jacquie Alley is Chief Operating Officer and Director of The Media Store and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She also led IMAA’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, which was formed earlier this year and is now led by AFFINITY’s Chief Brand Officer, Angela Smith.
Steve Fagan is the director of Media Republic and heads the IMAA’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Commission, which was formed in May and is an IMAA-selected initiative aimed at improving lives and outcomes for Aboriginal people. We work closely with Kings Narrative, an indigenous social enterprise.

IMAA recently welcomed three new members to its leadership team. Melissa Roberts, Founder and Director of The Advertising Room (Victoria) and Angela Smith, Chief Brand Officer of AFFINITY (NSW) joined existing IMAA leadership team members Phil McDonald (BCM) and Steve Fagan (Media Republic) , and Tom Frazer.
