Paris, Cairo, 23 November 2022 – capgemini announced the appointment of Hossam Seyferdin as CEO of Capgemini in Egypt. In this role, Hotham is responsible for building and growing the group’s modern global delivery center team of experts, serving global clients with a focus on Europe and the Middle East.
Capgemini’s global delivery center in Egypt was established to meet growing customer demand for products in cloud infrastructure services, intelligent operations, engineering, research and development, data and artificial intelligence. Capgemini currently provides 24/7 multilingual business and transformation services to large organizations through a network of global delivery centers including Egypt. The new Egypt Global Delivery Center is ideally located to serve clients in Europe and the Middle East thanks to its time zone.

Biography: Hossam Seiferdin
Prior to joining Capgemini, Hotham spent 27 years with IBM, holding multiple leadership positions in various business units and geographies. In 2013, he was appointed Vice President, Middle East and Africa (MEA), where he led the IBM transformation and achieved outstanding performance across a range of metrics. He has also led operations, transformation, and strategy since 2008, developing and executing operational and strategic operating models across MEA. Additionally, in addition to his responsibilities as Vice President, from 2019 he was General Manager of Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States and Pakistan until the end of 2021, and from 2014 he was General Manager of Africa until 2016. has played its role. Hossam, in 1996 he worked as a systems engineer at IBM Egypt.
Hossam is passionate about building new business units and creating inclusive cultures with speed centered around trust, teamwork and execution.
