MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 9, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Mission Technologies Division of HII (NYSE: HII) has invested 70 million U.S. Air Force personnel to conduct technical analysis and recommend enhanced Air Force research. Won a $ task order contract. Research Institute (AFRL). HII research and analytics will be leveraged by the Air Force to support the Department of Defense’s artificial intelligence/machine learning and cyber modernization priorities.

The Collaborative Research and Computing Analysis Task Order was awarded under a Department of Defense Information Analysis Center (DOD IAC) Multiple Award Agreement (MAC). These DOD IAC MAC Task Orders are awarded by the U.S. Air Force’s 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron to develop and create new knowledge to enhance the Defense Technical Information Center’s repository and the R&D and science and technology communities.
Sponsored by the Defense Technical Information Center, the DOD IAC provides technical data management and research support to DoD and federal users. Established in 1946, the IAC Program serves the DOD scientific and acquisition community and enhances collaboration through the development and dissemination of integrated scientific and technical information for the DOD and the broader scientific and technological community.
