Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Hatter paid his respects at the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple on Sunday before attending the 25th National Conference on E-Government in Reasi District, Jammu and Kashmir.

“It is also a happy moment to see J&K making great strides at the forefront of development, marching alongside the rest of the country in introducing e-government to make life easier.” He said.
The Haryana Chief Minister said his visit to J&K gave him the opportunity to meet old friends and that no political program was planned during his stay.
Later, addressing participants at a national conference on e-government, he said it wasn’t long before traditional voting practices were replaced by e-voting in the country.
“It is possible, and there is no such thing, to link voting rights to an e-government where people can vote at home instead of going to a polling place. In many countries, the practice of e-voting has already begun.” He said.
Mr. Khattar said many vested interests are not satisfied with the progress of digitization of services. Because digitization has made it possible to check for corruption, make deliveries faster, and benefit people who no longer need to go to the office.
“Even some politicians, both in the opposition and our allied partners, have problems because they feel that no one will come to us,” he said, noting that e-government has many He added that there is scope and there is a lot to be done in relation to this.
The Haryana Chief Minister has assured Jammu and Kashmir of his government’s full support in realizing the true strength of digitizing services for the benefit of the nation.
“We stand ready to provide any consulting, training, or other support you need from us,” he said.
