    Christine Streatfeild is a partner in the Washington, DC office and a member of the steering committee for the North American Trade Secret Practice. She has extensive experience in forced labor investigations, anti-dumping and countervailing duty cases, safeguard measures, obligations imposed for national security purposes (Section 232 obligations), and Section 337 intellectual property and trade secret disputes. Focuses on trade remedy and unfair competition cases. She has appeared before the US International Trade Commission (ITC), the US Department of Commerce (DOC), and state and federal courts. Baker Prior to joining Mackenzie, she served as Acting Deputy Director General of the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) and the Office of the United States Trade Representative in the Environment and Natural Resources Division. She also served as an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University’s Krieger School, where she taught about global trade, policy, and competition. She is also on the 2021 USMCA Dispute Settlement Panels Roster (on behalf of the United States) and has served (under NAFTA) since 2019. Christine’s practice focuses on trade control and intellectual property matters, including economic injury and damages, import duty compliance, and unfair competition claims.
