NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The First Responders Children’s Foundation (FRCF) is proud to announce the launch of its annual Toy Express. This holiday program brings toys to children in her 150 cities in the United States. It focuses primarily on families who have lost a first responder parent while on duty. Toys are also sent to public safety agencies and hospitals, helping first responders build positive relationships in the communities they serve.
As part of FRCF’s Hurricane Ian disaster response, special toys were delivered to Lee, Sarasota, and Charlotte counties in Florida to help first responders, their families, and their families, who were most affected by the hurricane. The Foundation is actively seeking donations of toys and money to meet the hundreds of demands made in these most severely affected areas where families have lost everything.
FRCF is working with toy manufacturers, corporate partners and individuals across the country to warehouse hundreds of pallets of toys in the coming weeks. This year’s needs are significant. Any business or individual can virtually hop on Toy Express to purchase toys for the orphaned children of their first responders.
