Dr. Brittaney Hill, DDS, MS, MPH of Chicago, Illinois, was inaugurated as the new 2023 Dental Director of the Chicago Dental Society (CDS) on November 13th. Dr. Hill has held multiple leadership positions in her CDS, including accounting. She has served as president-elect, and president of the Kenwood/Hyde Park chapter, and served on the Membership and Grants Committee. She is also currently a member of the Chicago Dental Society Foundation Board of Trustees.
As a board of new dentists, Dr. Hill will serve for one year as a representative and liaison between early-career dentists and the CDS Board. , member benefits and events are under consideration. Dr. Hill will also help plan and promote the 158th Midwinter Conference, February 23-25, 2023 at McCormick Place West, Chicago. The Midwinter Conference is CDS’s annual scientific conference and the dental industry’s premier event, offering 2023 attendees access to over 240 courses taught by world-class speakers and leaders in today’s dental innovation, live Offer opportunities for exhibiting, networking with colleagues and friends.
In addition to his leadership role at CDS, Dr. Hill has served as Component Leader and Congressman for the Illinois Dental Association, Resident Liaison for the Illinois Pediatric Dental Association, and is involved with the American Dental Association Institute. For leadership diversity. Dr. Hill is also a member of the American Dental Education Association, the American Public Health Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In 2022, he received the Dr. David Whiston Leadership Award from the American Dental Association Foundation. In addition, she is currently a residency program director and full-time clinical assistant professor at the Graduate School of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago Dental College.
Dr. Hill received a BS in Biology from Xavier University, Louisiana and a degree in Dentistry from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She also holds a Master of Science in Oral Sciences, a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management, and a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Hill lives in Chicago, Illinois and is actively involved in church youth ministries and numerous community service organizations, including Delta Sigma Theta Sorrity Incorporated, I9 Sports, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring new restaurants and spending time with family and friends. As an avid sports and music lover, Dr. Hill takes every opportunity to attend concerts and Chicago sports events. In fact, she nearly achieved her goal of attending every sport her team’s game in Chicago.
