Voting for the 2023 President-elect and Representatives’ Representatives (RA) has closed. Doctors of BC are now able to share their results with their members, along with the composition of the 2023 Board of Directors (elected by RA). All semesters start in his January 2023.

For the positions on the Technical Committees, the Congress re-elected Dr. Elizabeth Swiggum for a two-year term and Dr. Michelle Teo for a one-year term. Dr. Dan Horvat and Dr. Karin Kausky were honored as two primary care physicians on the board.
BC’s 2023 Board of Physicians consists of the following members (in alphabetical order):

RA Regional Representative
Dr. Flora Barnard was elected by qualified members as a Rural Family Physician Delegate and Dr. Denise Jaworsky was highly regarded as a Rural Specialist Delegate.
Nominating and Governance Committee
Dr. Greg Deans was honored as a General Member of the Nominating Committee, and Dr. Reena Klarna and Dr. Casey Chan were honored as General Members of the Governance Committee.
