Penn Manor honored several former principals and administrators at a leadership dinner held at the high school Monday night.
The event brought together former school board directors and school district administrators to dine with Penn Manor’s current leadership team and nine school directors.
“The dinner was an opportunity to celebrate and recognize those who have contributed to the Penn Manor community through their service as school board directors or leadership administrators,” said Penn Manor Superintendent of Education Dr. Phil Gale.
“It’s important to thank past leaders who helped shape Penn Manor and provided the foundation for creating the great school district we have today.”
Guests included nine former school board members who served from 1975 to 2021. In total, for 83 years Penn served his community at Manor. Alice Afield, Don Anderson, Richard Bowder, Rich Frerics, Donald Graber, Pat Klein, Ken Long, Jeff Lyon and Jon Wenzel.
After dinner, guests took a tour of the high school led by Principal Baron Jones.
Thank you to all who attended and to everyone who has taken leadership roles at Penn Manor over the years.
