Upon completion, Willow Rock will be one of the largest free-standing energy storage facilities in California, supporting the retirement of fossil fuel power generation and maximizing renewable energy integration. Silver City is one of the world’s largest renewable mini-grids and will support Australia’s national electricity market with dispatchable energy services, unlocking renewable energy in regions currently constrained by network capacity limitations. Both projects will provide network operators and customers with low-cost, highly reliable non-discharging capacity.
