Factory fires are the number one supply chain disruption for the fourth year in a row, according to new Resilinc data. Much of this trend is driven by gaps in regulation and process execution, and a shortage of skilled workers in warehouses.
2022 also marked a significant increase in labor disruptions across the globe, a 92% year-on-year increase, largely thanks to protests at the Foxconn iPhone factory in China and a strike of US port truck drivers. .

- The five most disrupted industries include life sciences, healthcare, general manufacturing, high tech and automotive, with these specific industries being the most affected for the second year in a row.
