U.S. fintech Onbe has appointed two new executives to drive its ongoing growth strategy.

Brent Coles has joined as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s finance and accounting team, while Suresh Kumar has been named as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the company’s technology strategy and product We plan to support the further development of the offering. .
Coles has nearly 25 years of experience in private and public companies. Over the past 15 years, he has been his CFO at a number of fintech companies, most recently at Clearent.
Kumar previously worked at Fiserv for 21 years, most recently as CTO, Treasury and Risk Management Solutions. In his previous roles, he has developed technology in the areas of payments, deposits, fraud and digital efficiency.

Coles and Kumar will report to CEO Bala Janakiraman. According to Janakiraman, the pair has proven his track record in terms of strategy and leadership as well as expertise in building fintech teams.
