The State Enterprise Finance Company has strengthened its presence in the region in response to an ‘aggressive and active’ local mergers and acquisitions market by moving to new offices at the UKSE Innovation Center in Sheffield.
Following a joint venture with Hentons Chartered Accounts last year, with its own corporate legal team, Hentons Corporate Finance provides business and advisory services to clients working in myriad sectors.
With offices already in Leeds, Hartford, Doncaster, York, Thirsk and London, the expansion to a seventh location follows a busy period of growth for the company. This includes expanding the team by appointing James Pridmore as his Executive in Corporate Finance.
Hentons corporate finance director Matthew Milnes said the latest move reflected the company’s ambition to further solidify its position in South Yorkshire and capitalize on opportunities in the region.
With the advent of Henton’s Corporate Finance, the British Stock Exchange Portobello Street facility has only two units, and many other tech start-ups and companies have already taken advantage of the site’s central location.
