The UK-based manufacturing company plans to create 49 new jobs in Dorchester County over the next five years with an estimated $2.1 million investment.
Dennis Eagle, Inc. announced plans to expand its Summerville facility at 104 G Pinnacle Way in a December 13 press release.
A subsidiary of Terberg Environmental Group is a manufacturer of garbage trucks designed to enhance safety for drivers, passengers and pedestrians by adding low-entry cabins and large windshields to reduce blind spots.
The release noted that the Economic Development Coordinating Council has approved job development credits related to the project. The council also authorized Dorchester County to give her a $200,000 “pending” grant to cover the cost of building improvements.

Dorchester County Council Speaker Bill Hahn was especially grateful for the company’s investment in the community.
