Mark Kivinen and Malcolm Croskelly Appointed Executive Director and Chairman of Northeastern Ontario Construction Association

New leadership has emerged in the Northeastern Ontario Construction Association (NOCA).

As of December 5, Mark Kivinen will lead the organization as Executive Director and former Vice President Malcolm Croskery will become President of the Board.

Croskery brings 27 years of industry experience to this role. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Pioneer Construction and Fisher Wavy, a position he has held for the past seven years.

Kibinen has worked in the construction industry for 20 years and has been branch manager for AlumaSafway for 17 years.

A six-year NOCA board member, Kivinen is also a board member of the Ontario Association of Construction Workers’ Relations.

He began his term as NOCA President on June 16.

NOCA, active since 1948, is an advocacy group that supports the industrial, commercial, and institutional construction (ICI) sectors in northeastern Ontario.

Its members include contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, consulting firms, training and staffing providers active in the industry.

NOCA works with local, state and federal governments to inform and influence comprehensive construction legislation for contractors in Northern Ontario.
