areas of funding
fundraiser
“Taste of the Rams” is a joint venture between The Food Bank, Los Angeles Rams and LA Chef Community. Our annual ‘Season of Sharing’ event is held each year to highlight the friends who have made a significant contribution to the fight against hunger in our community.
Other third-party events and joint ventures include “Feed SoCal” campaigns with Albertsons and ABC7, and “Help for the Hungry” campaigns with Ralph’s/Food 4 Less and NBC4.
volunteer opportunities
Volunteers are important to food banks. Tens of thousands of people volunteer to collect, pack, and distribute food to neighbors in need. Food banks offer volunteer events and opportunities for individuals, businesses and organizations. In recent years, food banks have held special volunteer days with many corporate partners and VIPs.
