For the first time in 37 years, Cherry Crest Seafood Restaurant & Market quietly closed its doors this week. But in this case, the financial challenges posed by the pandemic did not cause the restaurant to go bankrupt. “This is a bittersweet time for all of us and not a decision taken lightly,” the owner said in a sign posted on the door and website.
At least, this strip mall at Orchard and South College in Greenwood Village has other dining options, including Tzatziki’s Restaurant and We Knead Donut.Yet in their comments on Denver Westward Looking at the news posts, it’s clear fans will miss Cherry Crest Seafood. Rebecca says:
When I moved to Colorado 22 years ago, this was the closest restaurant to home. bittersweet!
