Welfare goals were agreed to help and support residents of Ceredigion for the next five years.
At the full Council meeting held on November 24, 2022, counselors approved the Corporate Strategy for 2022-2027.
This strategy outlines four well-being goals, including:
- revitalize the economy, support business and enable employment
- Creating caring and healthy communities
- Offer the best start in life and enable learning for all ages
- Building sustainable, green and connected communities
Ceredigion County Council Leader Brian Davis said:
“I would like to thank the previous administration for pushing forward with major investment projects such as Growing Mid Wales, school improvements and, of course, coordinating the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We continue to work hard to bring economic recovery and success to Keredion by supporting local businesses, tackling poverty and increasing opportunities for young people to stay or return to their local communities. increase.
“During this time, we will work with local housing associations to increase public housing inventories to meet the needs of locals and discourage second home ownership within the county. Residents had a chance to speak out on the strategy at a public consultation held in September.
