COAST SALISH TERRITORY, Sept. 29, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The First Nations Major Projects Coalition (FNMPC) is pleased to announce Cenovus Energy Inc. (Cenovus) as a new member of its Sustaining Partners Program. This program furthers her FNMPC’s ability to foster relationships between members and the private sector on issues of mutual interest. Cenovus will benefit from an exclusive relationship with FNMPC, along with existing program members CIBC, Colliers Project Leaders, COWI, Gowling WLG, IBI Group and New Gold Inc. The relationship focuses on advancing Indigenous business initiatives between Partner and her FNMPC members. By working with these companies, FNMPC will further its strategy to promote meaningful indigenous participation in key development, and will promote environmental, social and governance (ESG) investment criteria and sustainable business practices in general.
