Two Cumbrian business leaders appointed to key roles in the Cumbrian Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) will advocate for county businesses.
Mark Brook of engineering firm James Walker has been appointed to the LEP Board.
As Head of Manufacturing for the Cockermouth-based company, he brings to the organization experience of the challenges faced by manufacturers in the energy, aerospace, biopharmaceutical, defense and nuclear sectors.
New board member Emma-lea Dalton, an entrepreneur and board member of three small businesses, was also named the new SME Champion by the board.
Replacing Janet Walker, Emma Lee will provide a voice to Cumbria’s small businesses, ensuring their voices are heard, and providing a platform to maximize opportunities and meet challenges.
She also provides invaluable insights and ideas to help your business succeed in Cumbria.
Lord Inglewood, Chairman of the Cumbrian LEP, said:
