As a CRO, McGaraghan has over 25 years of experience in the cleantech space, specifically demand response and VPP. Formerly VP of International Business Development at Voltus, McGaraghan is an expert in demand response and his VPPs for residential, commercial and industrial markets. He spent more than a decade in a leadership role at his Nest and was responsible for launching the hugely successful Nest Rush Hour Rewards program. McGaraghan has also served as an advisor to a number of clean energy technology companies and was a VPP pioneer in his early days as a core member of the EnerNOC team. Kar, the newly promoted COO, spent eight years as AutoGrid’s SVP and GM. He has designed turbomachinery, managed a large technology strategy project for the U.S. Department of Energy, and developed machine learning and optimization products for various energy companies. Prior to joining AutoGrid, he worked at Navigant Consulting (now Guidehouse) and he worked at Praxair’s cryogenic R&D center. MIT.
