Non-profit trade association ISITC Europe CIC (ISITC) and solution provider Broadridge have established a new industry forum focused on the ESG-related challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
Known as the ISITC European ESG Forum, the forum aims to bring clarity to ESG topics and is open to all practitioners, from issuer corporate secretaries to investment institutions, retail brokers and regulators.
According to ISITC, ESG continues to be a very important topic, sparking industry debate on reporting standards, grading standards and the cost of compliance.
It adds that more discussion is needed if the efforts invested to date are to achieve the expected results and benefits.
