NorState Federal Credit Union and its Board of Directors announced the retirement of President and Chief Executive Officer Susan G. Whitehead. During her 34 years at NorState FCU, Whitehead has held a variety of positions, the past nine years being president and CEO.

She was hired as a civil servant in April 1988 and worked diligently throughout her career with the NorState FCU, making sure that its members and staff were her primary goals. Her efforts paid off, and David named her president and CEO in 2013, following Rossignol’s retirement.with them This appointment makes me an honor to be the first female CEO in NorState’s history.
“Sue has always kept the evolving needs of our members as a top priority,” said Dr. David Mitchell, Director of the NorState FCU Board of Directors.

“In my 34 years with NorState FCU, I have had the privilege of working with many dedicated and committed financial professionals across the state and within the organization. It’s been a journey of learning, developing and membership services to make it happen,” said Whitehead.
