The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Economics and Business is pleased to announce the four winners of the 2022 Secretary of State Awards for Corporate Excellence (ACE). Secretary of State Antony J. Brinken will present the awards to these four American companies, large and small, at a ceremony at the State Department on December 9, 2022 at 11:00 am EST. - Two companies won awards in the category Responsible business operations. Anova Technical Services, LLC, A small company in Bali, Indonesia won this year’s award for providing fully traceable seafood through secure seafood tracking from point of catch to point of sale. GAP Inc., India, Awarded for caring for people during the COVID-19 pandemic. When the pandemic hit and suppliers were unable to pay their workers, GAP Inc. stepped in to negotiate wage payments and ensure the financial security of the most economically vulnerable. - in the climate resilience Categories, 2022 ACE Winners are Bangladesh, Drinkwell. Drinkwell provides safe and affordable water directly to residents in densely populated areas of Dhaka.
- of inclusive economic growth2022 ACE winner is Intel, Costa Rica for that reason Skill 4 life Capacity building training designed for underserved African and Indigenous peoples in one of Costa Rica’s lowest income areas.
