mission statement
Southern California Children’s Service protects vulnerable children through prevention, treatment and advocacy.
service area
We serve approximately 40,000 children and their parents in Los Angeles and Orange County. They face serious stressors such as financial burdens, housing insecurity and mental health issues. Research shows that stressors can make it difficult for families to attend to their children’s needs. Through 13 community sites, our program provides families with the resources they need to ensure stable relationships, physical and emotional health, and financial security.
Your generous donation helps us:
• Child abuse prevention
• Provide mental health services for children
• Facilitate foster care and adoption;
• Create location-based community initiatives

• Double private donations to expand agency child abuse prevention strategies.
• Advocate for public funding and policies that support prevention.
